Begin your helicopter ride in Hokitika with a flight over picturesque farmland before entering the Southern Alps. As we climb you will see the bush change from dense rainforest to alpine grasses. You will take in views of dramatic rivers and small alpine lakes before we approach our landing area amongst the towering mountains and a special glacier. You are able to exit the helicopter and step out onto a glacier at 6000 ft (1828 m). Reboard the helicopter before returning over 3 other glaciers on the return flight to Hokitika.
